Erekat congratulates Morsi on victory

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat congratulated Egypt's new president Mohamed Morsi, saying "We congratulate Doctor Mohamed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood candidate, on his win in the Egyptian presidential elections, and his election as president of Egypt."
Erekat emphasized that the Palestinian people have full faith in Morsi and know that he will continue to support the Palestinian cause. "We are certain Morsi will work towards establishing a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders," he said. (Elior Levy, AFP)
