Supreme Court denies appeal from man who strangled wife

Three Supreme Court justices on Monday unanimously rejected an appeal by Haim Shapirov, who was convicted in 2007 of strangling his wife and sentenced to life in prison.
During his trial, Shapirov claimed he was mentally ill and asked for a reduced sentence. (Aviel Magnezi)
