IDF soldiers suspected of aiding Sinai drug smugglers
Released for publication: Fifteen people, including 12 IDF trackers, have been arrested for suspected involvement in a drug smuggling operation. The detainees allegedly notified Sinai drug smugglers about army patrols along the border in order to allow them to sneak in hundreds of thousands of shekels worth of drugs into Israel.
Some of the detainees are also suspected of selling the drugs, which included cocaine, heroin, hashish and ecstasy. (Yoav Zitun)
