TA mayor: Municipality supports legal protests, not vandalism

Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai addressed the social protest movement in a video uploaded to the Municipality's website, saying that he opposes all manner of violence.
"We have proposed an alternate location for the (protest) encampment instead of Rothschild Boulevard," he said. " The Municipality will continue to support any protest movement as long as it adheres to the law, and we cannot consent to vandalism and violence, whether it is perpetrated by a police officer… or a protester."
