Knesset OKs bill to extend state comptroller's term

A legislation extending State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss' term by three months has passed its second and third readings in the Knesset.
Despite opposition voiced by Knesset Legal Advisor Eyal Yinon, 13 Knesset members voted in favor of the bill, while one MK voted against it and another abstained. The legislation means to allow Lindenstrauss to complete his report on the Harpaz affair. (Moran Azulay)
