CBS: May unemployment at 7.1%

The unemployment rate in Israel climbed to 7.1% during the month of May, compared to a 6.8% unemployment rate which was reported during the previous month, the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reported on Thursday.
According to the data, the number of available jobs during the first quarter of 2012, dropped to 63,000 compared to 65,900 jobs available during the fourth quarter of 2011. (Ran Rimon)
