China space capsule returns from mission

China's Shenzhou 9 spacecraft returned to Earth on Friday, ending a mission that completed a manned docking test critical to its goal of building a space station by 2020.

The mission had included both remote control and piloted dockings with the module and extensive medical monitoring of the astronauts. The crew included China's first female astronaut, 33-year-old Liu Yang. (AP, Reuters)
