16-year-old indicted for attack on elderly man

The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor submitted on Monday an indictment against a 16-year-old resident of the city suspected of violently attacking a 69-year-old man without provocation on Saturday night.

According to the indictment, the suspect was drinking with his friends and became involved in an altercation with the victim, then pursued the man and stabbed him twice. After the man fell to the ground, the teen allegedly kicked him in the head. The prosecution is asking that the suspect be remanded until the end of the proceedings. (Naama Cohen Friedman)
