Iranian professors decry VP's anti-Semitic remarks

Eight Iranian professors have publicly decried anti-Semitic statements made by Iranian Vice President Mohammed-Reza Rahimi, who said last week that the Zionists were responsible for the global drug trade.

"These are baseless accusation, and are against the interest of the people and the government of Iran," the academics wrote. "It's shameful that people like this ignore their responsibility toward the Iranian people and turn into a mouthpiece for theories that stem from idiotic minds." (Dudi Cohen)
