Gafni on Plesner Cmte: PM has abandoned haredim

United Torah Judaism MK Moshe Gafni said Monday following the dissolution of the Plesner Committee that the "prime minister has abandoned the haredi public, which was his partner over the years, because of cheap populism by parties acting out of political considerations."
According to Gafni, "There is not a single yeshiva student for whom Torah is a way of life who will be drafted as a result of this decision. (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu must show leadership and responsibility and not abandon the public to anger and anarchy." (Kobi Nahshoni)
