Italian chef slain by co-worker in Jamaica kitchen
An Italian chef has been fatally stabbed during a dispute with a co-worker in the kitchen of the Jamaican restaurant where they worked.
Police say 40-year-old Paolo Avigliano was pronounced dead at a hospital in the capital of Kingston after a female co-worker allegedly stabbed him with a kitchen knife. The woman was taken into custody but her name was withheld Monday pending further investigation. Radio Jamaica says the Italian man was apparently accidentally splashed with hot oil by his co-worker, setting off an altercation between the two. (AP)
