Britain bans Indian Islamic extremist group

Britain's security minister says an Indian militant group behind a series of bombings has been banned in the UK.

 

James Brokenshire told lawmakers Wednesday that the United States and New Zealand had already taken steps to outlaw the Indian Mujahideen, an Islamic extremist group linked to the Pakistan-based Islamist rebel group Lashkar-e-Taiba. (AP)
