Report: Top Syrian commander defects to Turkey

A Russian TV channel reported that Manaf Mustafa Tlass, commander of the 105th brigade, an elite unit in the Syrian army, defected and fled to Turkey.
Manaf, is son of Mustafa Tlass, who was a close friend of Hafez Assad, and served as his minister of defense. (Roi Kais)
