100 rally against kids' deportation in front of minister's home

Over 100 activists have gathered on Rothschild Boulevard and began marching towards the nearby home of Education Minister Gideon Saar in protest against the deportation of migrants' children. Police forces are blocking the entrance to the minister's home.

The case of a 6-year-old Israeli-born A.J., the daughter of a Filipino migrant worker, has become the centerpiece of the protest. "She shouldn't be in detention facility. My daughter is innocent, she deserves to stay here, she's just like any other Israeli child," the girl's mother said. (Shiri Hadar)
