Yigal Amir meets other prisoners for first time

Yigal Amir, murderer of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin met with other prisoners for the first time in nearly 17 years during the daily yard time at the Rimonim Prison.
Amir is still serving his sentence in a separate section in the prison and according to a Prison Service decision with the approval of the State and Shin Bet, he was allowed to meet in the prison yard with three other prisoners who were carefully selected in order to avoid any physical attacks on Amir. The meeting was held under the close watch of the prison guards. (Ra'anan Ben-Zur)
