European Commission president meets Fayyad in Ramallah
European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso called for the renewal of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, arguing that the peace process should not become a casualty of the Arab Spring.
Barroso, who has travelled to Israel and the Palestinian territories for the first time this week, met with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in Ramallah. (AFP)
