Haifa man attacks girl with pepper spray, steals her phone

A Haifa resident was apprehended Monday for allegedly spraying pepper spray in the face of a young woman and then stealing her cell phone. Community police were called to the scene and spotted the suspect hiding in a nearby house.

He reportedly tried to spray the police, but one of them overpowered him and took the pepper spray canister from his hand. The man has been transferred to police custody. (Ahiya Raved)
