Members of Israel's Olympic team have arrived at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, ahead of their trip to London. The prime minister gave the athletes chocolate medals, and expressed hope they would return to Israel with gold ones.
Netanyahu also addressed the International Olympic Committee's decision against holding a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the 1972 Munich massacre: "For 40 years, a moment of silence wasn't held for our athletes who were murdered. The time has come for this to happen." (Oren Aharoni)
