Itay Ben Dror, who killed
his three children in July 2010, was sentenced to three consecutive life terms on Tuesday.
The Petah Tikva District Court also ruled that Ben Dror, who stabbed Omer (10), Roni (8) and Or, (5) to death in their sleep, will pay his ex-wife Lilach Shem-Tov NIS 500,000 (about $126,750) in damages.

"Thank you," Shem-Tov told the court with an anguished expression. Ben Dror had no reaction to his sentence. "I hope you rot in jail," a pained family member yelled at him as he was escorted out by the bailiffs.

"My kids were shown the justice they deserve. This hasn't been an easy time. I hope he rots in jail and that I never see him again," Shem-Tov said after the hearing.
She told reporters that while he was waiting for his verdict and sentencing, Ben Dror had harassed her. She said she hoped the harassment would stop.
Ben Dror has made repeated petitions to visit his children's graves. Prison authorities refused each one. "That will only happen over my dead body," Shem-Tov said.
