Israel Electric warns of possible power outages

The Israel Electric Corporation has warned that due to the heavy heat, a high demand for electricity is expected and there is concern over a possible "electricity drought."

The IEC is urging the public to save energy and use devices that require a lot of power such as ovens, vacuum cleaners, and washing machines in the early morning or late evening only. The company also warned that there could be power outages. (Ynet)
