Police raid Afula Municipality, confiscate documents

Detectives from the National Fraud Squad raided the Afula Municipality on Wednesday morning and confiscated documents about the activities of the municipality and the mayor.

The reasons for the raid were unclear, but recently Channel 10 has begun investigating alleged ties between Mayor Avi Elkabetz and building contractors. Elkabetz was not on the premises at the time of the raid. (Ahiya Raved)
