Plesner, Ya'alon at odds over alternative to Tal Law

It became evident on Wednesday that there are significant differences of opinion between MK Yohanan Plesner and Deputy Prime Minister Moshe Ya'alon on a number of issues relating to an alternative to the Tal Law, including the number of draft exemptions that will be extended to haredim.

The legislation is due to be debated by the Ministerial Committee for Legislative Affairs on Sunday, and it is possible that the issues will have to be decided by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Kadima Chairman Shaul Mofaz. (Moran Azulay)
