Tunisia: Mashaal calls for joint strategy for Palestine's liberation

Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal was welcomed in Tunisia by members of the country's ruling Islamist party Ennahda. Speaking before thousands of activists, Mashaal called for a joint Arab-Muslim strategy for the liberation of Palestine and said that a new page must be turned in negotiations with Israel.
He nevertheless noted that resistance was the only way to free Palestine. (AFP)
