Tropical Storm Fabio strengthens in Pacific

Tropical Storm Fabio is strengthening in the Pacific and could become a hurricane by Friday night or Saturday but is expected to stay well offshore of Mexico.
The US National Hurricane Center in Miami said late Thursday that the new storm's maximum sustained winds were 60 mph. Fabio's center is about 470 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is moving west at 10 mph. (AP)
