Chinese police say activist death was suicide

Police in central China say a veteran activist found hanging in his hospital room committed suicide. Family members and fellow activists suspect foul play.
A police report released through the Hong Kong China News Agency late Thursday said investigators found Li Wangyang's fingerprints on the window bar from which he was found hanging last month. It says an autopsy concluded Li's injuries were consistent with suicide and found no signs of bruising, organ damage or other evidence of struggle. (AP)
