MK Yohanan Plesner (Kadima) commented on the universal draft crisis, saying that "the prime minister must decide – if he continues to support the Likud-Shas outline, by which army draft is not obligatory for haredim, it will be hard to prevent the continued collapse of the IDF model as the people's army."
