Palestinian gets 35 years in prison for terrorism

Mahmed Mahara, who was convicted of a series of terrorist offenses including placing bombs against IDF troops; shooting missiles at Israel; and relaying information on IDF movements that lead to a 2004 attack on a base near Beit Hanoun in which First Sergeant Gilad Fisher was killed; was sentenced Monday to 35 years in prison.
