Bedouin arrested for stealing cop's weapon

A Bedouin resident of Fazura was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly stole the weapon of a police officer who stopped him near Ohalim Junction in the Negev. Other officers on duty nearby overpowered the suspect and returned the officer's weapon to him.

During the incident, police officer fired shots in the air to break up a crowd that had gathered. The man was taken in for questioning. (Ilana Curiel)
