The Israel Electric Corporation has cut the Finance Ministry's electricity as part of a planned power outage.
The IEC warned that due to the heavy heat, a high demand for electricity is expected and there is concern over a possible "electricity drought." The electric company urged the Ministry employees to save energy and refrain from using devices that require a lot of power. Following the power outage, generators were switched on around the office.
