Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, leader of the Lithuanian ultra-Orthodox community in Israel, has died at the age of 102 in Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the rabbi was one of the "most important" religious leaders "of our generation." (Kobi Nahshoni)
