Colorado massacre: Obama orders flags at half mast

US President Barack Obama has ordered the flags on public buildings flown at half mast in honor of the victims of the shooting in Aurora, Colorado "as a mark of respect." Twelve people were killed in the rampage.
The order applies to the "White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States," as well as military bases, embassies and consulates abroad.
