Lieberman to French FM: France may have important Mid-East role

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman met in Brussels with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius. Lieberman told Fabius that the Arab Spring brought a new young power force to the arena. Educated and liberal that understands that its problem is not Israel or the Jews but rather poverty and oppression.
The biggest danger to that new force is extremism and the militant forces affiliated with Jihad and Iran. Lieberman added that France could have a n important role in shaping the future of the Middle East and that it can bridge between young liberals and Israel. (Attila Somfalvi)
