Likud officials: Netanyahu saved the economy

Likud officials said Tuesday evening that "(Labor Party Chair Shelly) Yachimovich's proposals were implemented in Greece and Spain and the result is known. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's responsible management saved the Israeli economy from the global economic crash."

"While unemployment is ballooning worldwide, Israel has added 300,000 positions," the officials said in response to Yachimovich's allegations that Netanyahu was responsible for Israel's budget shortfall. (Attila Somfalvi)
