Knesset approves national fire services authority

The Knesset plenum approved in its second and third reading a bill to establish a national fire services authority. Some 48 Knesset members voted in favor of the bill which went through unopposed.
Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said this was a "historic day." (Moran Azulay)
