High Court: State will pay Palestinian's legal expenses over delays
None
Supreme Court President Asher Grunis rules that the State would pay the legal costs of a Palestinian man who appealed to the High Court against the construction of a number of structures west of Beit El. He claimed that the structures were erected on private land requisitioned by the State for security needs.
Justice Grunis ruled that the State would pay the NIS 5,000 ($1,230) as the respondents in the case – the defense minister, IDF, Civil Administration and police – continuously sought extensions, which led to a prolongation of the appeal. (Aviel Magnezi)
