Report: 'Limited combat' between Jordanian, Syrian soldiers

Jordanian media reported that in an unusual move, Jordanian soldiers engaged Syrian soldiers on the countries' joint border in the Tel Shihab area after Assad's forces fired at a group of refugees who had escaped Syria.
The Jordanian news agency reported that the government spokesman said that "limited combat" ensued after a Syrian family who was attempting to cross the border was fired upon by Syrian soldiers who killed one of the family's children. Some 300 people escaped to Jordan. (Roi Kais)
