Kiryat Malachi Mayor Moti Malka will resume his mayoral duties. The ruling at a Rishon L'Zion Magistrate's Court hearing into the terms of Malka's release stated that Malka could resume his duties immediately.
Police officials expressed their shock at the ruling and further expressed their anger towards the prosecutor for drawing out a decision on the case. Malka was arrested a few months ago over suspicions that sexually harassed a female employee and raped her. (Eli Senyor)
