One person was killed and two others were injured when a car exploded in one of Gaza's eastern neighborhoods, Palestinians sources reported Wednesday.
The three were taken to the Shifa hospital. Rescue and police forces arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. The man killed was identified as Ayman Sharfa aged 22.

Eye witnesses say Sharfa and the two others are members of Hamas' military wing, however Izz al-Din al-Qassam has yet to confirm this.
Heavy IDF machinery performed routine work on the border fence overnight, close to the site of the blast and likely entered into Gaza. It is possible the three aimed to target the vehicles and suffered a work accident.
