INSS chief: Israel under threat from 'only' 1,000 missiles

None

Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) Head Major General (Res.) Amos Yadlin said Wednesday that "Israel is under threat by a total of 1,000 effective missiles and not 200,000 as previously claimed. Syria does not have one accurate missile and there are 190,000 inaccurate short range missiles in the region."

Speaking of a possible attack on Israel he noted: "When the missiles explode in Tel Aviv and people get killed, then Israel will have increased legitimacy to act." (Yoav Zitun)
