Yakov Toumarkin became just the second Israeli swimmer to advance to the finals of an individual Olympic event after finishing the 200-meter backstroke semifinals in 1:57.33 minutes.
The 20-year-old advanced from eighth place overall to the final, which is scheduled for Thursday. (Ynet)
