Lapid: Ultra Orthodox can do civil service

Yesh Atid party Chairman Yair Lapid spoke in a conference on constitutional law and human rights at the Israel Bar Association. "I understand that not every 18 year old can serve in the Golani Brigade so let them enlist in civil service," said Lapid.
"No politician can say it's a neglect of Torah study, it's a fulfillment of the Torah," he added.
