Six African infiltrators escaped the Matan Prison Service holding facility in Hadera, the Prison Service reported on Friday.
According to the report, all six are between the ages of 14 and 18 who infiltrated into Israel without adult relatives.
An initial investigation reveals that the teens broke one of the window bars in their cell, climbed up to the roof of the building and jumped over the facility's exterior fence.
The police and Prison Service are searching for the teens, and have managed to locate two of them so far.
The Prison Service also stated that it has decided to close the facility and transfer all the detainees to Givon Prison.
