Tel Aviv Municipality refuses to include Arabic in city's emblem

The Tel Aviv Municipality has rejected a proposal calling to include an Arabic caption in the city's official emblem, which currently features Hebrew and English captions.

Mayor Ron Huldai claimed that the proposal was solely meant to make headlines, noting that 90% of the city's population is Jewish, while Arabs make up only 4% of the city's inhabitants. (Gilad Morag)
