Mashal calls Morsi, condemns Sinai terror attack

Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashal has called Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and expressed his condolences over the deaths of 16 soldiers in a terror attack in northern Sinai on Sunday. Mashal strongly condemned the attack, and stressed that Hamas and the Palestinian people are concerned for Egypt's security and stability.


Meanwhile, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad has sent a message of condolences to his Egyptian counterpart, Hisham Kandil, over the casualties suffered in the attack. (Elior Levy)
