A set of economic measures has passed its second and third readings at the Knesset. Twenty-eight Knesset members voted in favor of the measures, while 16 opposed it. The remaining 76 MKs, including Welfare & Social Services Minister Moshe Kahlon, did not attend the plenum session.
The legislation calls for 1% income tax hike for those who earn over NIS 14,000 a month. (Moran Azulay)
