State admits it pays Holyland affair witness NIS 12,000 a month

The State has confirmed media reports claiming that the State's witness in the Holyland affair will receive a stipend of NIS 12,000 ($3,000) per month for a period of up to eight years.
In a statement filed by the Tel Aviv District Prosecution to the City's District Court it was noted that the State agreed to reveal the sum due to the special circumstances surrounding the Holyland affair. (Gilad Morag)
