State comptroller evades Carmel disaster meet

State Comptroller Yosef Shapira will not attend a meeting on report into the Carmel disaster which was presented by his predecessor after it was decided that the meeting be held at the Prime Minister's bureau and not at the Knesset as it is usually done.
Shapira notified the Chairman of the Knesset Control Committee MK Uri Ariel and explained that he did not think it was appropriate to hold a meeting into a comptroller's report at the office of the person under review. (Aviel Magnezi)
