Iran's Jalili offers Assad 'humanitarian aid'
Said Jalili, Secretary of the Iranian National Security Higher Council, met with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Damascus and offered the leader "humanitarian aid," the ISNA news agency reported.
Addressing Iranian accusations that Israel and the US support the rebels, Jalili said that "enemies cannot be allowed to take revenge over the Syrian people for their failures vis-à-vis the resistance." (Dudi Cohen)
