Security guard at border crossing charged with abusing authority

A 23-year-old Beersheba resident who works as a security guard at the Meitar border crossing is being accused of abusing her authority by allowing the relatives of her Palestinian partner to enter Israel illegally and without a security check. She is also being accused of handing her personal weapon to her partner.
She is being charged with fraud, breach of trust, deception and weapons offences. An indictment has also been filed against her partner. (Ilana Curiel)
