Egyptian Intelligence knew of Sinai attack
The Egyptian intelligence chief General Murad Muafi confirmed that Egypt had accurate information prior to the terror attack in Sinai, in which 16 Egyptian soldiers were killed, a Turkish news agency reported. Muafi told Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi that the attack was committed by infidel terrorists in Sinai and Gaza.

When asked why defense forces did not thwart the attack in spite of having prior information, Muafi replied: "We never thought a Muslim would murder his Muslim brother during the Iftar meal, which breaks the Ramadan fast." (Roi Kais)
